Getting Runes:

Every spell require rune stones, which can be a combination of either air, water, fire, earth, mind or body. To get infinite runes of one type you need a staff. If you have an air staff and you equip it so your character holds the staff, it will provide you with infinite air runes, so say the spell needs 2 fire runes and 1 ir rune you will only need to pay 2 fire runes. Rune stones re-spawn rapidly at selected locations. The best way though I find to get rune stones is to kill dark wizards west of Varrok by the stone circle. They can drop 12 at a time if you are lucky. For beginners though here are the spawning locations:

Water Rune: In chasm in desert on way to Al-Kharid.

Fire Rune: In chasm in desert on way to Al-Kharid.

Air Rune: West of Lumbridge castle near a well.

Earth rune: North of Varrok Castle in middle of forest.

Mind rune: Go in castle and in ground floor on west tower on table.

Body Rune: Schmitar shop in Al-Kharid go to second floor.

In the desert, next to the copper and the iron there are fire and water runes. Every like 55 sec. the water and fire rune pop up and it keeps popping over and over again.

Easy Money:
An easy way to get money is to keep killing darkwizards until u get alot of runes. You can sell nature and chaos runes for 100gp to 200gp. Law runes you can sell for is 250gp to 350gp. Cosmic runes for 150gp to 300gp. Death runes for 200gp to 500gp. And all other runes for 2gp to 10gp ant a rune shop.

GO to dark wizards at south gate of varrock and kill the wizards for runes. You will get different types of runes. This is the value per rune off of dark wizards. (fire 5gp,water 3gp,air 5-10gp,earth 1-5gp,minds 5-10gp,chaos 100gp,nature 200-400gp,cosmics(very hard to get) 100-200gp,laws(the hardest to get of all) 1k(1000gp for beginners who don't know) deaths (extremely hard to get)200-300gp)

firstly go to world 1 and buy at least 3 rune scimmys for 25k each, log out and go to a less crowded world and sell for 30k each, repeat and make money

go to draynor bank and by law runes off low level players for about 150 - 200 gp each then sell them on from about 300gp to 500gp in different worlds

Easy Runes:
if u r buying chaos runes than stop if u go 2 the lv 40 wilderness there is a place with 6 chaos runes that respond almost instanly and there r moss giants there but dont attack them unless u know that u can beat them

go to karjimra and go in the volcano and kill lesser demons lvl 82 they drop rune med helms! then sell them for 11-15k thats how i get my money.

Go to the goblins near port sarim or the goblins near lumbridge and sometimes when you kill them they drop runes (e.g water runes earth runes and body runes (i got those) sometimes you'll get 6 runes from 1 goblin and you may be lucky to get 7 runes from 1 goblin.

after you do the air rune quest you can make your own runes. since the air runes are the most useful ones you can sell them for a high price.repeat this several times

When at lvl 25-40 go to dark wizard tower and kill lvl
20s. They will drop good runes like chaos, death, nature ect.
(1 time i got 3 laws by killing) this can be useful for lvl up in magic, strength, attack and defense.

First, find as many talismans as you can (i.e. Air talismans, earth talismans, fire talismans etc. Second, complete the Rune Mysteries Quest. Third, either get the owner of the Rune Shop in Varrock or the wizard on the bottom floor of the Wizards Tower to teleport you, you will end up in a mining place. Forth, mine as many rune essenses as it takes to fill up your inventory. Fifth, right click on a talisman and select 'Locate Talisman'. It will tell a direction keep clicking'Locate Talisman' until you end up near a tower. Sixth, there you will be able to change the Rune essenses in to Runes for magic depending on which tower you located (locate the air tower and you will only be able to make Air Runes)!

Fast Runes:
If you are above level 7 Kill Wizards They Give Almost All The Runes. They Gave Me Nature Runes, Chaos Runes, Cosmic Runes, Law Runes, Fire Runes, Earth Runes, Air Runes, Water Runes And For Member Runes Are Blood Runes This Will Even Train Your Magic. Hope You Like It. Good Luck! 

Death Rune:
BUY DEATH RUNE AT THE MAGE SHOP AT VARROK FOR 179GP AND BELOW. THEN GO TO WORLD 1 AND SELL ALL THE DEATH RUNES FOR 300GP. yOU WILL HAVE A PROFIT OF LIKE 121GP EACH DEATH RUNE!!!!

if your level 32 go to black night castle or go to dray. Village and go by the back of the bank and fight the black u should get some food bring with attack black night(s) and u will get coins death runes and nature runes
